Lord, since you found it befitting to unite us in marriage, I pray that you please help me so I may help my husband. Help me bring goodness-not bitterness- to him all the days of his life. Help me to love him unconditionally, as you do. Help me to build him up and not tear him down- to be his biggest cheerleader and supporter; his safe place. Help me to forgive quickly and not rehash things of old when he wrongs me. Help me display kindness through words and deeds always, even when we disagree. Help him understand that I have his back 100% of the time. Use me to help him walk in his God-ordained purpose; to help him realize your plans for him in the land of the living. Help me to never abandon my vows to him when life gets tough. Help me to be his intercessor and overall good thing.
